WEIGHT LOSS
To summarise: Stomach less bloated, less fatigue, sleeping better, drinking more water, cooking more fresh food (as pre-packed stuff has ingredients I can't have), food tastes better and is more enjoyable, absolutely no urges for chocolate or sweet things – hurrah!
I came away from the course really motivated and excited about putting all the principles into practice. Over the past 12 days I've lost 1.5kgs (about 3lbs) which I'm very pleased about – aiming for a total of about 8kg. I do a fair amount of exercise and haven't changed this over the past 12 days, but I have fairly radically changed the way I'm eating.
I still haven't finished reading the book so I'm only applying the bare minimum of the techniques that are available to us. However the changes that I've made have worked. There are some foods that I've not yet tested for, but I've become more aware of how I feel when I eat - I'm more in control and
realise now the reasons why I was eating and have managed to re-educate my system with ease. Will update again soon, R, Basingstoke
Am posting to report on progress after 12 days on the programme and am delighted with my three and a half pounds weight loss. This was achieved after the first few days and I have been stuck since then so I guess its a plateau as I am not doing anything different. I hope it will come right in the end. One change could be that I have been less active this week as I have had a cold and not been out much. I have used a lot of the keys but not all have been important. I do know I need to challenge myself more with the activity/exercise part of the programme! - H, Norfolk
